Precision engineering in perfection - our RC excavator
The development of our Liebherr 944C RC excavator was a special milestone and also part of the motivation for founding SGS Feinwerktechnik. The idea arose from the desire to create a high-quality RC model that would meet our own standards of precision, functionality and design – something that was not available on the market.
The acquisition of the first CNC machining center, with which we were able to manufacture the 100{c5c1b4bc38463c6f0c4003c1a5e6fc36db2e401fa2c6d3633b3612daa7476263} self-designed components for the RC excavator, gave us the opportunity to implement this vision. With around 2,200 working hours invested, we created a unique model that meets the highest standards of precision, functionality and design – a model that was not available on the market in this form.
We are proud to present our hydraulic RC excavator – a one-off that gives an impression of what we can achieve.




Special features of our excavator project:
- Complete development: Starting with 3D design in SolidWorks to the production of all components on our CNC machining centers.
- High quality standards: Even the hydraulic components were manufactured by SGS Feinwerktechnik, as products available on the market did not meet our standards.
- Efficient control system: Just the electric motors and the control system were bought in.
